On June 5, 2023 the meeting of the Director of the National Center for Higher Education Development Mukhataev Aidos Agdarbekovich with the Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Kazakhstan Ali Salim was held. There was an exchange of views on the Scholarship Program of Kazakhstan for foreign nationals.

Scholarship program of Kazakhstan for foreign citizens is an important tool that provides access to higher education in Kazakhstan for students from different countries.

The representatives of the Embassy of Iraq received comprehensive information on Kazakhstan's Scholarship Program for foreign students at the meeting. It was noted that there are Iraqi citizens among the applicants who have shown interest in studying at universities in Kazakhstan.

The director of the Center expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Iraqi people for the long-term cooperation in the field of education and emphasized the importance of further expansion of partnership between Kazakhstan and Iraq in the field of higher education. The Consul also expressed his deep gratitude to Kazakhstan for the opportunities offered to Iraqi students to receive quality education.

The Director of the National Center for Higher Education Development and the Consul of the Embassy of Iraq expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation and continue further consultations on the development of the Scholarship Program of Kazakhstan for foreign nationals.
