The Bologna Process and Academic Mobility Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a training seminar for experts of degree programs on the subject of ‘Examination of a passport of degree program for inclusion in the Register of Higher and Postgraduate Education Programs’ on the basis of the M.Narikbayev KAZGUU University, March 29, 2019.

146 experts attended the seminar from 51 universities in all areas of training of higher and postgraduate education.

At the plenary meeting with a welcoming speech to the audience addressed the Director of the Department of Higher & Postgraduate Education of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adlet Toibayev.

Rector of M.Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University Serik Omirbayev held a session where the issues of designing learning outcomes in the process of developing a degree program were discussed.

Further, the workshop participants worked in groups that conducted practical exercises on the following topics: ‘Regulations for the formation of the Register of degree programs of higher and postgraduate education’ (Almagul Kultumanova), ‘National qualification framework as a tool for improving educational programs’ (Amantai Nurmagambetov), ‘Methodology for evaluating passport of degree programs’ (Aidos Mukhatayev).

The Center has prepared an Instruction for the examination of passports of degree programs of higher and postgraduate education.
