DEQAR Conference / EQAR Members' Dialogue ‘From Quality to Automatic Recognition and Mobility’ October 7-8, 2019 in Madrid (Spain)

The Conference brought together more than 100 representatives of ENIC/NARICs, ministries of higher education, quality assurance agencies, ENQA, ESU, EUA, EURASHE and others. The event was hosted by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Crue Universidades Españolas.
At the conference, the DEQAR database was presented. Quality assurance agencies registered in EQAR publish here reports and decisions based on the results of an external audit. Currently, the database contains more than 40,000 external audit reports (accreditation/evaluation). 2 Kazakhstani accreditation bodies IAAR and IQAA are registered in EQAR.
DEQAR:
- promotes transparency of external quality assurance,
- provides information on accredited higher education institutions and programs, which contributes to the recognition of qualifications;
- facilitates the selection of a reliable foreign partner university in order to conclude an agreement/memorandum on joint training (joint/double degree program/academic mobility);
- contains reliable information to all stakeholders (government, employers, researchers, parents, NGOs, etc.).
